General Information

I am a performer who lives for theater. I am a dancer, singer, actor and instrumentalist. As a dancer I am trained in Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Pas de Deux. As an Instrumentalist I play the piano. I am also a choreographer for school revues and also some dance solo's for dance competitions. As a performer I strive to boost the theatre industry in South Africa and to introduce the performing arts to the younger generations, so that arts awareness can be achieved and thus enhance the industry in the future.

Experience

In 2010 I danced with the Tshwane Dance Theatre in their productions of E-Boyz and Giselle. During these two productions I worked with Choreographers such as Esther Nasser and Redha Benteifour. At TUT I also had the oppertunity to work with choreographer Timothy le Roux. During my time at TUT I took part in musicals including Rent, Parade and Spring Awakening. In 2011 I was part of the South African team who participated in the IDO Showdance World Championships in Riesa, Germany where we became world champions in the Formation and Small Group catagories. During 2012 I participated as a dancer in the Hartiwood Film, Pretville, which will be released in cinemas in November 2012. Here I had the opportunity to work with Ferdinand Gernandt as choreographer. I am currently busy with my Baccalaureus Technologiae in Musical Theatre at the Tswhane University of Technology.
